Back bends

If you haven’t tried it yet, take a yoga class that has a lot of back bends! Seriously, you won’t believe all the emotional baggage that ends up stuck in your spine…well, actually, we all seem to have different places where we store that stuff, but for me it’s my Thoracic and Lumbar spine (mid to low). I can actually get overwhelmed with emotion and nearly start to cry in wheel or camel pose, but it’s just a good sign that some serious work is being done. I highly recommend you give it a try.
