Phone call from Africa; call waiting from India
Out with the old, in with the new. That is so much easier said than done! I feel a heavy weight of the past dragging at my heart center as I look towards a future that is so different than today…Change doesn’t come easy, but if you aren’t proactive about it, it will sneak up and bite you in the ‘behind’.
So here I sit, contemplating the next six months, feeling the forceful hand of change pressing against my back as I lean against it with resistance and fear. This is not the way to do this; I need to lean forward into the unknown with an open heart and mind…time to practice some of those fabulous tools that are so handy at moments like this!
You’re probably wondering what the heck I’m talking about, so I probably should elaborate. I don’t know the details, but there is a serious shift in my life looming ahead. I have dreams left unfulfilled of serving people directly, where the needs are unimaginable and my energy can go a long way to help.
I head to India in June and intuitively feel this change impending with my journey. What will that look like? I don’t know. Will I return? I don’t know when. India may be just the beginning…Africa keeps calling and I keep missing the phone.
Today, my proverbial ringer is turned on and the phone is by my ear, so I’ll keep you posted on what Africa says and how India feels about it and what Self decides.
