Welcome 2011

2011 is shaping up to be another year to remember. My enthusiasm is through the roof, but I also feel a calm sense of gratitude and peace at this new chapter, which is most certainly beginning as we turn the clock to this new year.

To start things off I have my golden birthday on January 30th – a new decade and a new leaf in my life (30 years complete, many more to go I hope).

Next I have the privilege of graduating from my Yoga Teacher Training program at Yoga Tree San Francisco and begin my journey as a real teacher…gulp!

Then I pack my things and head to the Himalaya for India Round II with my father and (hopefully) my husband. We have an amazing itinerary planned to visit holy sites in remote villages across God’s greatest mountain range, where ancient Rishi’s can still be found meditating for lifetimes in her majestic caves…and we will do our darnedest to find them!

As we all know, for every peak there is a valley, so I’m packing 2011 with as many grounding, inspiring activities as possible to keep my meditation & yoga practices strong.

I am so blessed by the great teachers and guides who continue to shower my life with meaning and grace. May I be able to give to others the many gifts that I receive in this already amazing year.
